【摘要】:1.1Thismethodisintendedtodeterminewhetheranodicoxidecoatingsonaluminumanditsalloys,thathaveundergoneasealingtreatmentandcontactwithanacidsolution,arestainproofornonadsorptivewithrespecttodyes.1.2Coatingsthathavebeenproperlysealedshouldbeproofagainstadsorptionofcoloringmaterialsand,hence,x201C;nonstainingx201D;inmanytypesofservice.1.3Thismethodisapplicabletoanodiccoatingsintendedforapplicationswheretheyareexposedtotheweather,orforprotectivepurposesincorrosivemedia,andwhereresistancetostainingisimportant.Note18212;Performanceinthistestispredictiveonlyofsusceptibilitytostainbydyes.Itisnotintendedtobepredictiveofotherfactorsinserviceperformancesuchaspittingorgeneralcorrosion.Note28212;ForAluminumAssociationClassIandIIarchitecturalanodiccoatingsthataresealedinsolutionscontaininglessthan15ppmsilicatesor3ppmphosphates,theacidpretreatmentmaybeomitted.1.4Inthecaseofcoatingscoloredindeepshades,whereestimationoftheintensityofanyresidualdyestainisdifficult,interpretationofthetestisbasedonwhetherornottheoriginalcolorhasbeenaffectedbytheactionofthetest.1.5Thismethodisnotapplicableto:1.5.1Chromicacidtypeanodiccoatings.1.5.2Anodiccoatingsonaluminumalloyscontainingmorethan2mass%Cuor4.5mass%Si.1.5.3Anodiccoatingsthathavebeensealedonlyindichromatesolutions.1.5.4Anodiccoatingsthathaveundergoneatreatmenttorenderthemhydrophobic.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
