【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedensityorrelativedensityofpetroleumdistillatesandviscousoilsthatcanbehandledinanormalfashionasliquidsattesttemperaturesbetween15and35?C.Itsapplicationisrestrictedtoliquidswithvaporpressuresbelow600mmHg(80kPa)andviscositiesbelowabout15000cSt(mm/s)atthetemperatureoftest.Thistestmethodshouldnotbeappliedtosamplessodarkincolorthattheabsenceofairbubblesinthesamplecellcannotbeestablishedwithcertainty.ForthedeterminationofdensityincrudeoilsamplesuseTestMethodD5002.Theacceptedunitsofmeasurefordensityaregramspermillilitreorkilogramspercubicmetre.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see7.4,7.5,and9.1.
