【摘要】:ThispracticeprovidesminimumrequirementsfortheapplicationofClassPIEIFS.Therequirementsformaterials,mixtures,anddetailsshallbecontainedintheprojectplansandspecifications.SeeGuideE1825forguidance.1.1ThispracticecoverstheminimumrequirementsandproceduresforfieldapplicationofDirect-appliedExteriorFinishSystems(DEFS).Direct-appliedexteriorfinishsystemsarecoatingsystemsappliedovervarioussubstrateswithnon-metallicreinforcingmesh,inwhichthebasecoatrangesfromnotlessthan1/16in.(1.6mm)to3/32in.(2.4mm)indrythickness,dependingonthemassofthereinforcingmesh.Thisbasecoatissubsequentlycoveredwithafinishcoatthatisavailableinavarietyoftexturesandcolors.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricvaluesgiveninparenthesesareapproximateandareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.5Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
