【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC11518definestheframeformatsandprotocoldefinitionsforencapsulationofHigh-PerformanceParallelInterface-Mechanical,Electrical,andSignallingProtocolSpecification(HIPPI-PH)packetsfortransferoverAsynchronousTransferMode(ATM)equipment,i.e.,tunnellingthroughATM,orforusewithothermedia.AninformativeannexdescribesanIPRouterforusebetweenHIPPIandATMsystems.PhysicallayerspecificationsfortransportingATMcellsarenotspecified.Boththe800Mbit/s(100MByte/s)and1600Mbit/s(200MByte/s)HIPPI-PHoptionsaresupported.Transfersfroman800Mbit/sHIPPI-PH,throughHIPPI-ATM,toa1600Mbit/sHIPPI-PH,andviceversa,aresupported.
